I love making movies. It began with choreographed fight scenes between my brothers and I set to the Mortal Kombat Soundtrack.
I later got a job as a videographer for Fox11 news because I could quickly tell a visual story. Working for the news station taught me alot about editing in the camera and to pay attention to my surroundings. It gave me a quick eye as news happens fast. Once I was on my lunch break and, while walking into a Subway, noticed a couple of police cars down the street. I grabbed my camera out of the trunk and ran down the street. I caught a huge mobile meth lab bust.
My latest ventures into cinema aren't meth lab busts but they have a drama all their own: weddings. I've found that the documentary/journalistic approach I learned works well for documenting someone's wedding day. I'm always honored when someone chooses me to film their wedding day. Cheesy though it may be, it really is an awesome thing to be involved in such an important moment in someone's life.
